I was reading through some articles about solid state disks "SSD's" and found this image of some mechanical hard drive internal parts, pieced together into the shape of a motorcycle. Thought it was pretty cool and wanted to share it with ya..

The wheels/hubs are platters and spindles, frame and some of the other interconnects look to be the read-head magnet structures. some of the other parts look like the alluminum read head support structures but definately some "OTHER" parts in there that didn't come from the inside/ouside of a hard drive. The seat looks like a CPU IHS

Nope. Maybe those are from an old vcr or tape deck? Couldn't find much about the sculptor/hobbeist, or what all went into it. Their link to "this person" just goes to some blog/RSS without any search box and clicking on "next page" results in all the content from page one showing back up, with a litlle "page 2" in the address bar.... Tried next page a few times.. No luck. There's a front view and a couple other motorcycle models outa scrap; http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1156/1488322622_bbe02e07ed.jpg
