Hi John,
I appreciate the pointer to "Disk Administrator".

Unfortunately, I did a search for "Disk Administrator download" and found a
few. The first one I clicked on gave me a virus alert:

http://www.softstack.com/download/diskadmin.zip\setup.exe\{app}\disklock.exe
Win32:Mabezat-P [Wrm]
Virus/Worm

So I got scared and stopped at that.

Do we have a reference to the "right" Disk Administrator?

Here is the one that gave me the virus warning:

Disk Drive Administrator 3.01 download page (ok to click on the link below)
http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Utilities/Access_Control_Utilities/Disk_Drive_Administrator_Download.html
Which had a link to here (do NOT click on this link below!)
http://www.softstack.com/download/diskadmin.zip
DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK JUST ABOVE AS IT TRIGGERS MY AV PROGRAM!

Which is the "real" disk administrator to download?

http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/bd70af1ec54aa87d2c1ef32b5b61b413

Avast 4.8.1281.0 2008.12.27 Win32:Mabezat-P
Comodo 826 2008.12.27 Unclassified Malware
GData 19 2008.12.28 Win32:Mabezat-P

The chances are extremely high that this is a False Positive based its functionality and
its access to..
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\

and other factors.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about windows Disk Management from
right-clicking my computer -> manage. In any case, I would get a new
memory card if it's that messed up :-)
