Be sure they are saved as .txt files.
OR you can copy/paste them directly into your post.

Really didn't see Vundo anywhere though you did have some infections on the computer for sure.
Couple of things I see now, you are really running way too many security programs but your computer is NOT secure. You are running XP SP1, you absolutely need to update to at the very least XP SP2. There have been many security updates since XP SP1 was introduced. You also are NOT running a firewall. You can run all the 3rd party security programs you want but the computer won't be secure because you don't have the most important Windows Updates.
I see the following 3rd party security programs running in the background;

Spybot - Search & Destroy\SDHelper.dll
Spyware Doctor
TrojanHunter 5.0
Tracks Eraser Pro
SUPERAntiSpyware
Ad-Aware Service

Entirely TOO many. Run too many and they fight each other and allow the invaders in...as your logs and infections show.

Plus there isn't a reason in the world to have Registry Clean Expert running all the time. There really is no reason at all to have, and rarely to use an automatic registry cleaner. Unless you know absolutely what is being cleaned and why, they just shouldn't be used. Removing old registry entries generally do very little to speed up the computer PLUS remove the wrong registry entry and your computer can end up being in real trouble. Uninstall this program.

At most here we generally recommend the following for keeping a secure computer;
UPDATE...keep Windows updated, you are 4 years behind. XP SP2 was released in August 2004
An antivirus program, you have AVG 7.5, this will no longer be supported or updated after December of this year so you should either update to the newest version or choose another. There are several very good free ones out there and these are listed HERE (http://forum.networktechs.com/showthread.php?t=50)
along with the best free firewalls.
We also recommend Spybot S & D. What version of Spybot are you using? Current version is 1.6
SpywareBlaster is also a must have and it is also linked in the link above.
You absolutely MUST update to XP SP2 or SP3. SP 3 will give you all contained in SP2 plus a bit more.
If you don't get Windows updated you will run the risk of getting more infections and malware. As you can see, even running and antivirus program and all those anti-malware programs but NO firewall and no updates...you still got infected.

Hi thanks for getting back to me

ok what would you suggest I remove and keep Im using spybot 1.6 as suggested by you and I will keep spywareblaster

I have uninstlled Registry Clean Expert as advised

will updating to SP3 have any effect on my machine just now am I likely to loose anything ??

sorry to be such a noob :(

Im thankful for all the advice you give me cheers

You shouldn't lose anything with the update. Here is what Microsoft says;
Windows® XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) includes all previously released updates for the operating system. This update also includes a small number of new functionalities, which do not significantly change customers’ experience with the operating system

what would you suggest I uninstall and keep please advise :)

jholland1964
09-14-2008, 12:11 PM
Ok, now much of this is my own personal opinion, don't know that it is worth much but here goes and what I use on my computer;

Main thin of course...UPDATE the Windows Operating System first. This is KEY.
Keep the Spybot 1.6 (don't use the TeaTimer portion of the program. Keep it updated and scan regularly with it...at the least weekly
Keep Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, scan with it at least weekly and always update it first.

I would update the antivirus program, either with AVG8 or one of those noted in THIS (http://forum.networktechs.com/showthread.php?t=50) sticky. Then once you have it installed set it to auto-update daily and scan weekly.
Also either enable the built in Windows Firewall or choose one of those listed in the above sticky.

I would UNINSTALL the following, key word here UNINSTALL via Add/Remove just don't delete;
Spyware Doctor
TrojanHunter 5.0
Ad-Aware
Keep the SUPERAntiSpyware if you wish but use it for scanning only, not running in the background all the time. Running too many is just overkill.
I cannot really advise on the Tracks Eraser Pro because I am not familiar with it at all. Maybe somebody else here is and can advise on that one.
Install SpywareBlaster (http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html) as I noted before. EXCELLENT program, FREE too and provides real protection against, as it's website says;

Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted software.
Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
Restrict the actions of potentially unwanted sites in Internet Explorer.

SpywareBlaster can help keep your system spyware-free and secure, without interfering with the "good side" of the web.

One thing you have to do is reset your System Restore so you have a new, clean restore point. To do this, Right Click My Computer. Select Properties. When System Properties opens then click the System Restore tab. When that opens place a checkmark in Turn Off System Restore. Click Ok. You probably will get a warning telling you that you are turning it off, click ok or yes whatever the button says. It will then turn off. Wait a moment and then turn it back on by doing the reverse of what you just did.
Do all this and you should have a more safe and secure computer.
Judy

jholland1964
09-14-2008, 12:56 PM
Boot to Safe Mode and try the uninstalls. How are you connected to the internet? Did you read all the instructions at Microsoft before trying to install? Did you disable your antivirus program before trying the install?

kingrobbo1874
09-14-2008, 01:05 PM
ok will try to get in via safe mode
Im hard wired to the internet
I just clicked on the windows update icon to start of the upgrade ? I didnt disable the antivirus !!! sorry but I did say I wasnt very technical !!

jholland1964
09-14-2008, 01:17 PM
Uninstall everything recommended first. Then read this page and follow the instructions there.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/875364

Remember, this is a slow process so it will take awhile.

kingrobbo1874
09-14-2008, 01:19 PM
ok I will try but Im not even getting into safe mode now :(

sorry to be taking up a lot of your time but it is appreciated :)

jholland1964
09-14-2008, 01:23 PM
Shut down the computer.

Restart your computer.
When the machine first starts again it will generally list some equipment that is installed in your machine, amount of memory, hard drives installed etc. At this point you should gently tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with a Windows XP (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial61.html#) Advanced Options menu.
Select the option for Safe Mode using the arrow keys.
Then press enter on your keyboard to boot into Safe Mode.

kingrobbo1874
09-14-2008, 01:26 PM
i have carried out those steps but Im not getting the safe mode desktop screen it seems to hang showing a list of drivers etc !!!!

:(

jholland1964
09-14-2008, 01:27 PM
Give it time, this is the way it boots when going into safe mode. It will get there eventually. Just let it run.

kingrobbo1874
09-14-2008, 01:28 PM
its been sat like that for a few minutes now is that normal ??

jholland1964
09-14-2008, 01:50 PM
Shouldn't take forever to boot. Do you have your XP CD?

kingrobbo1874
09-14-2008, 01:53 PM
Its still not gone into safe mode !!

Im afraid I dont have my cd :(

jholland1964
09-14-2008, 01:55 PM
Did you turn the computer completely off?
There is nothing in the clean up steps which would have caused any of this so there must be damaged files someplace.
Where is your XP CD?

kingrobbo1874
09-14-2008, 02:02 PM
yes I turned it off completely

my CD has been lost during a recent house move :(

jholland1964
09-14-2008, 02:05 PM
You are going to need that CD for possible repair if you cannot get the computer to reboot.
When you tap the F8 key are you getting the various options for booting...Safe, Safe with Networking, Normal...etc. If so are you choosing Safe and then clicking Enter.

kingrobbo1874
09-14-2008, 02:07 PM
yes Im getting all the other options when tapping PF8

jholland1964
09-14-2008, 02:26 PM
Try safe again.

jholland1964
09-14-2008, 02:32 PM
If the stickers are still on the machine you should be able to contact the mfg. to obtain a new recovery disk for the computer. But you have to have those numbers on the sticker in order to do this.

kingrobbo1874
09-14-2008, 02:54 PM
ok I will check to see if stickers on there

tried safe mode again with no joy it just seems to stay on the page showing the drivers etc :(

jholland1964
09-14-2008, 03:15 PM
Just tried mine. It appeared to stay on the dos screen showing drivers for well over a minute or so.
Then faded to black then faded to Welcome to Windows.

You really should look for those disks which came with the computer. As you can see they are vitally important...you should have an XP Restore or Reinstall disk, a disk with all the drivers on it, possibly a disk with software on it, maybe one for the monitor.

kingrobbo1874
09-14-2008, 03:17 PM
ok I will retry it again :)

kingrobbo1874
09-15-2008, 06:34 AM
tried several times and now all Im getting is a message asking me to insert disc ??

jholland1964

Then this means what it says, you need your XP CD. This means some necessary files have been corrupted or removed and in order to boot the computer these need to be repaired using the Restoration CD.
If you have the sticker still on the computer as you say then best I can tell you is to call the computer manufacturer, you should be able to find their service 800 number on their website, and explain to them what is happening and tell them you have lost the original cd's which came with the computer and need replacements in order to repair the system. I am sorry, but that is the only thing I can suggest that you do. They should be able to supply these for you. When a computer is started in Safe Mode it only loads those files vital to the operation of the system since you cannot complete a safe boot this tells me that some of those vital files are damaged or missing.

As long as you have your numbers for your specific computer they should be able to help you I would think. When you get that CD then come back and we will walk you through the steps needed.

I felt that was probably what would be needed but in order to reformat you need those disks. Did you tell the dealer you don't have those?
