Well. On my way out of town today, my outer wheel bearing decided to freeze and the inner race decided to spin on the spindle, dunno why? It's a new bearing with fresh grease..... So I pulled over, sprayed in some goo, did some vollying kinda like formula racers do to keep their tires warm, I believe this stuck the inner race to the spindle and free'd up the bearing and the goo kept the bearing from being dry on the way back...... So I fixed that bearing, repacked retorqued, then back to getting out of town, to do some shopping. Took a little detour stopped at the beach to do a bit of detecting and noticed that there's a TON more beer bottle caps this year compared to previous years..

Found some loose change, a few rusty nails and watched the sunset..... A nice start to the weekend, except for the bearing issue. I didn't like finding that, ~people are drinking alot, alot more people bringing "glass containers" and leaving their trash in the sand.

There's a sign that says no glass on the beach, but people are doing it anyway cause they want to get their slur on.... Found about 20 or so bottle caps in a 50 foot by 100 foot area :( anyway, back to the regular scheduled program :P

Cauz, what I don't get it, I thought you lived in Sacramento area so what beach is this that you were talking about? Were out somewhere else?
Also what type of car/vehicle is it that you were riding?

I agree with the trash around the world becoming more and I don't mean the trash that is collected through normal channels...things are getting worse everywhere.

Was the car, 4 wheels, front drivers side outer wheel bearing :( it hasn't given me any hints, after about 45 miles, I'm going to check on it though, cause it did look like the spindle had a little galling, can't afford to replace the spindle unless I source a used one or aftermarket chromoly for bigger calipers ;) I'm in California, and living in a state of mind, rather than any one place. I live about 10 miles from the ocean
