Well i figured it was time to break down and finally upgrade my video card, i got this card cause it was cheap when i built this box and planned on a upgrade eventually and now is the time. Got 2 Foxxconn 9600GTs coming that im gonna throw in and run in some SLi goodness. This will be my first trip down the SLi path and ill let you all know how it goes.

I'm on my third trip down sli, and cross-fire, but it goes back to voodoo2 ;)
New cards need more cpu/mhz + fast data bus....
I got two foxconn 8800gts 640meg OC versions running SLI, and not enough processor.
Some games don't like it, some do..
Then there's games that have "software" that effects the graphics quality/speed/smoothness etc.. via config files...
look into changing thigs like maxfps, minfps, v-sync and whatever else you might test in the config files to see if there's any improvement or difference in smoothness/looks, panning tearing/ripping etc.

well, i got them in and love them, the only real issues im hitting now are that i dont have enough cpu, scored 10,000 3dmarks in 3dmark06 right out of the box, not to bad considering where i was before with my x1300
