So i have been reading about custom firmwares for WRT54G routers lately. So i flashed DD-WRT into my WRT54GL. Saw that it had an overclocking option. Went from 200MHz to 250MHz but was unstable after a while. I ended up taking it apart and adding heatsinks to the ram and cpu and can run 250 stable. Your probably wondering why i did this. Really i did it just because i OC about everything i get my hands on that will do it. I have noticed a bit better performance with it OCed when you are really cranking on the network hard though.

Very nice! DD-WRT is a great firmware. I have it running on my buffalo. I don't see a need to OC my router though. usually I don't have nearly enough traffic running through my router to make any difference.

LOL; that's awesome! speaking of overclocking... whats the deal with ddr2 fsb... is it 400-800 x 2, or NO? In my case 1150 / 2? I'm currious, when I load my computer default, it sets the ddr fsb to 800mhz; would that be 1600mhz? and it runs fine like this in auto "everything" mode; but when I set the fsb manually to 1150 and or 1066, it shows five hundred something memory fsb, instead of 1066 as in 1150 or 1066 / 2.. Kinda confusing.
