I have a seagate 120gb external hard drive. I want to copy pictures from it onto cd's.
I'm using a HP laptop that has a dvd/cd writer. I can write from the C drive, like from my documents, or my pictures, but when I try to copy from the F drive(seagate freeagent go) nothing happens.
I tried moving files from the F drive to my documents on the C drive but it won't do that either.
Any ideas?

do you have any permissions set on the free-agent external drive?

I don't know. I don't think there was anything to set up. Just plug it in and it shows up in my computer as drive F. It has something similar to windows on it called Ceedo.
Were would I look for these "permissions" ?

what OS is on your laptop?
