Ultimate Boot CD is completely free for the download, or could be obtained for a small fee. If you had somehow paid a ridiculous amount of money for it, you have most likely been fleeced.

I had a copy of an older version but never thought it would actually be available for free download. Imo, this is a must have CD.
There are many download mirror sites available through the main page but to make things easier, I generally try this (http://pcinfo4u.net/ubcddls.asp) link first.
